Horrible Hosting - But Cheap

I was using pchighway.com back when it was friendlyhosting.net. And when the owner of friendlyhosting.net (Max) decided to sell his company to pchighway.com I knew I was in for some trouble. Pchighway.com took the 'friendly' right out of the service and replaced it with total incompetence. I have had more downtime and more issues with pchighway.com than I ever had with friendlyhosting.net. I hope the pchighway.com company goes belly up real soon. I used to host over 30 sites with friendlyhosting.net / pchighway.com and I have been vigorously moving them all to a new hosting company.

My Experience

After some initial setup issues of my own doing, I am very pleased with the variety of services provided and will recommend Pchighway Hosting as an economical way to having a web presence. Tech support is excellent and almost immediate. Well Done! 10 Stars!

Worse experience with hosting ever

Extremely unreliable technical support and hosting service. Our website had been hacked couple of times through out the year and Korksoft was unaware of the problem until we notified them. And the recovery measure was very slow and not up to satisfactory level. Over all, poor technial support and un professional customer service for this company, I would not recommend this hosting service to anyone. It's not worth the money at all.

Stay Away

This company has continued to charge my credit card AFTER I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. As per usual, there is no invoice or receipt for the charges. Nor is there any warning that they are coming. And as per usual, on the day I discovered the charges, database features on their Windows hosting were not working and continued to be out of commission for another 24 hrs. The worst!

Korksoft - Support

Tech support at this time is practically non-existant. I belive they are not even in business anymore. The contact numbers listed on their web- site do not connect anywhere. I have copened 6 tickets and used the emergency pager 4 times over the past week and have not received a callback or an answer back. Their control panel is down, so there is no way to configure my web-site or change passwords. It appears that there is no one there. Do not use this service.

Jason Korkin is a thief

I signed up for web hosting from Korksoft (or ThievesSoft as I refer to it now). I have tried to I tried cancelling my membership but I e-mailed and called a million times and have not been successful. They are still attempting to take the money from my account. I am getting ready to sue this thief called Jason Korkin. I am gathering as much information as possible. If you have any info including his home address, let me know.

Jason Korkin and Korksoft Sucks!

Korksoft is a poorly run organization. When first coming on board, they seem like a professional organization. Until, something goes wrong. The site was commonly down on a regular basis 99% uptime is more like 89% uptime. Their support is horrible, commonly you will be talking to v-mail rather than a human. I sent 17 email messages once over a span of a month to resolve an issue and never rec'd a response. I had to turn to calling them on the phone to get my issue resolved. Even after I discontinued my service, they charge my annual credit card fee 1 year after I had stopped using them.

Virtually NO Support

What a piece of crap! Servers go down often. Jason Korsoft, the liar, says 99.998% uptime. Yeah, right. One day of being down for hours proves that to be a lie. There is NO AFTER HOURS SUPPORT. Maybe that is why it's dirt cheap to host here. You only get what you pay for ... at Korksoft, you even get less.

Korksoft Sucks!

I would NEVER recommend Korksoft to anyone. Jason Korksoft's servers go down very, very often. The after hours support is basically non-existant. The site ways 99% uptime ... it's not even close to that. Site has been down for 6 hours at a time with no return calls and no explaination. No one ever answers the support line during the day and it is non-existant after hours. You can read many reviews all over the web on hos this host as repeatedly lied and screwed their customers. Remember, you only get what you pay for. In this case, you even get way less than you pay for.

Korksoft is *terrible*

Jason Korkin is at best a liar, and at worst guilty of mail fraud. He has not kept a single commitment as advertised. NOT ONE. Rude, ignorant, and useless would be the words that come to mind. STAY AWAY!! As an example, email was DOWN around 30% of the total time we had a very low volume account with him. Never responded to email, phone, etc. Total dud.

Korksoft Support Vitrually Non-existent

I have an account with Korksoft and am not receiving anything like the 24/7/365 support as promised. Most of my emails and support tickets get ignored and some of the tickets have been deleted altogether! I have not attempted to phone them as I am in the UK. I have been waiting on an SSL certificate to be installed for over a week and cannot continue developing my site without one - well, you know the story. Complaint emails just get ignored, like the support ones of course. I have had my account with them since 26th May 2004 and I signed up for a year.

SCAM ARTISTS!!!

SCAM ARTISTS!!! Remember this 2 names: Korksoft.com and Jason Korkin. Spread the words to others, it is a Total Rip- off. Never returns phone calls! Even when you site is DOWN. Never returns emails, he just let your site down for a week or more. There IS NOT 24/7 support. There IS NOT 99.9 % uptime. There is NO 30 days $ back. Well, if you are those lucky ones who can get $ back from him, don't be glad too soon...He could charge your credit card, even a year after you cancelled your service. You don't have to believe in me...read others' review.

Dishonest and lousy web host

The worst web host ever!! After unsatisfactory service for 3-4 months, I cancelled my account in July by email. They have continued to charge my credit card for 5 months. The only way to get the money back is to dispute each and every charge with the credit card company. The company does not return phone calls ever, nor do they reply numerous emails that I have sent (both before and after I cancelled my service). The IP number assigned to me have long been assigned to another company, yet they continue to charge me. Incompetent and irresponsible company, take your money elsewhere.

Won't Stop Billing!

After cancelling my account via e-mail, I have been billed for hosting for at least 9 months. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and received my money back that way, but after repeated phone calls and e-mails, Korksoft still bills my credit card, month after month. The bank said the only eay to get them to stop is to close my BANK account, I just want Korksoft to close my hosting account I attempt to cancel each and every month I dispute the charge with my credit card. Beware, once the billing starts you might not be able to get it to stop.

Do not use Korksoft

Tried the service, it didn't work. When we asked for a refund, still do not have it almost 30 days later. Several conversations and e-mails say our $$ is on its way back to us, but to no avail. We are calling the BBB and Local Agencies to resolve this. I urge anyone else who has had problems to contact the BBB and other local agencies to resolve this matter as well. Great pricing, poor everything else!
