Alpha 1 web hosting is the best! Never have I had such wonderful custermer service. If I have a question someone if there to help almost immediately. The service itself is top notch. We use this company for several sites. They have always been easy to work with and their support is great. We had a problem with virus infected email at our last host and it has not been a problem at all with Alpha 1 as they scan all incoming and outgoing email for viruses. That has helped us out a great deal.

Could someone help me - how do I contact Sharp? I have already renewed my hosting, but suddenly the site (including sharpwebservices.com and admincontrolpanel.com) have gone down. Until yesterday everything was fine. Then suddenly without warning the SMTP server went down and then everything else followed a few hours later. Have they been hit by that new Win2000 virus?

Less than zero now. Started slipping in early '03 and nearly cost me my best client this year. SharpWebServices.com is down "no web site at this address" and admincontrolpanel.com is dead. WHAT HAPPENED TO SHARP???? They WERE good. Now they're dead. Post-mortem on this could indicate that $67/year wasn't enough, but I would've gladly paid double that for all the bells & whistles they had (at one time). SAD and infuriating. No responses to emails. No notifications when sites go down.

They never respond to emails or the telephone, been with them 3 years, but after 7 months or being ignored im moving if i can get hold of them that it!!!!!!!!!!

I switched to SWS because of your reviews, however........ I was up within 24 hours, but that's all. I requested tech support for four days straight (8/6/2002) and just received a response today (8/21/2002) and tech support was wrong. The person who was supposed to answer a question about cig/perl had no idea where or how a database was created!!! My site is up and running perfectly on a "freebie" website, and I'm shocked that he couldn't answer a simple question. Instead of /usr/bin/perl/ SWS requires you we use C:/Perl/bin. then we're supposed to add a drive insert.

No problems; no waiting; what I need is there before I ask for it; the servers are overflowing with functionality for my clients' sites; it's a developer's paradise. What else can I say. They are simply the best.

I'm wriggling with excitement over this "Total Online Business Solution". Service includes Real-Time Statistics with multiple metrics. You can even find out who has been looking at your website! I registered (2) different domains with both .net and .com extensions for a total of (4). I am able to host all (4) with payment for only (1). Michael was extremely helpful in providing immediate online support and suggestions! Suggestions included economical ways to process payments.
