I have had the site for my web site design business, Bellamy Technology & Design, Inc. hosted with Halfprice Hosting for almost 2 years. As a former IT professional in 'Corporate America' working mainly in application development, database administration and quality assurance, I felt certain that with my background as an artist and graphic designer I would be very successful in creating web site that were technically sound as well as aesthetically pleasing. The part that had me a bit worried was the actual process of having the sites hosted and transferring the files, since this was out of the scope of my technical experience. I was pleased to find Halfprice Hosting who offered hosting at a reasonable monthly fee. The sales representative that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and patient in answering my many questions. I was able to set up the account for my site easily. When it came to the FTP part, I needed to seek the help of tech support. Now that my business has been established and I am developing new web site clients, I plan to recommend Halfprice Hosting to them as well. Yes, there are many other hosting companies out there in Cyberspace, but I feel very confident in my choice of Halfprice Hosting and the quality and value of service that I get for my money. The ease of set up and maintenance and availability of tech support is well worth the reasonable fee that I pay per month.
